Negar Sadeghi, Industrial Engineering PhD student, has been awarded the WSC Diversity Award from the INFORMS Simulation Society.
The INFORMS Simulation Society proudly supports diversity and inclusion among young researchers in simulation. Each year, the WSC Diversity Award provides sponsorship to help students and postdocs attend the Winter Simulation Conference (WSC).
The society especially encourages applications from women, underrepresented minorities, and others who can contribute to the diversity of the WSC community, though the award is open to all qualified applicants.
Negar's research focuses on CAR T-cell Therapy Supply Chain Optimization, working under the co-advisorship of Prof. Mohammad Dehghani. Her work applies simulation and optimization techniques to improve the delivery of personalized cancer treatments.
